Addiction

Addiction is a monster that can rear its ugly head among even the strongest of us all. It does not discriminate, and it does not hold back.

It will rip the joy from your life, the life from your soul, tearing families apart in the process and leaving loved ones devastated in its wake.

I’ve seen it. It sucks.

I’ve also seen many good friends and family fight the disease and live each day, one by one, armed with purpose, empathy, love, and whatever else they can muster up so that they continue to thrive. It’s not easy, but they keep fighting.

Do your part to spread kindness,  forgiveness,  friendship, and support for this this life. Everyone is a reflection of you. Everyone is fighting their own silent battle,  and many wish they had someone to help. Be kind than you say you are. Be heaven sent.
